Weekly Update #371: Sprite, BG & CG Progress

As you can see from the image above, we now have another new variation of the lobby background, this time with one of the doors open, giving us a look into the main hall. This one is also used for the flashback scenes in chapter 2. When Himatsu asks Raptor Pack Productions how the incident unfolded, I thought it might be a lot more interesting to actually show it via a glimpse into the past, rather than have the characters in the present describe how things transpired.

Thankfully, this background variation was a very quick task to check off, as I literally just layered the two already existing backgrounds on top of one another, removed the door and edited its frame. The same procedure is also partly applied to the new CG, but it still requires a bit more extra work beyond that, which I can’t really get into due to spoilers. I’ll post it on Patreon, however, once it’s completely done, which hopefully won’t take much longer.

Now, as for sprites, I have continued working on those as well and, as promised last week, here’s that new variation of Terano:
