Weekly Update #433: More Script Progress

Script work has continued on GENBA no Kizuna‘s fourth chapter and, while it takes me once again longer than anticipated to finish the current part, I’m at least satisfied with how it’s shaping up and had quite a bit of fun writing these last couple of days. I really wish I could share some previous, but of course, being so deep into the story also means being very deep into spoiler territory…

Something I will be able to show a preview of very soon, however, is this year’s Christmas illustration which I have also started work on, this time drawing a comfy Christmas Ryuu!

There also have been some things going on behind the scenes, which I will elaborate on in our New Year’s posting, but for now, I’m just gonna say that I may or may not have taken a look at GENBA‘s Steam store page and made some preparations for launching it.
There’s still a lot of work involved in that, from all the store assets to a proper trailer, but given that we’re pretty far into the penultimate chapter now and therefore plan to release the game next year… it might be about time to get into the whole marketing side of things.

Finishing the actual game still takes priority, of course, so this will be a bit of a slow process, especially since it’s not like our team’s grown in members, meaning I gotta take care of all this stuff mostly by myself, too.

But yeah, it’s exciting to actually have gotten to the point where we seriously gotta think about this stuff.

Anyway, that’s about all I can say until our first blog post in 2023, so for now, please enjoy the rest of your weekend and, until next Saturday, take care :3
