And so, we have (unfortunately) reached the end of Jurassic June. As mentioned at the very beginning, we wanted this month to focus on the suspect characters appearing in our next murder mystery visual novel GENBA no Kizuna. One of them became the subject of this month’s special artwork and the other three were introduced through a little poster in last week’s blog post.
But now I guess it’s finally time to shed some more light on these Warriors of the Mesozoic!

Welp, so here we are… the 200th weekly update. Holy crapperoni. I honestly cannot believe I’ve been doing this for so long now.
We’ve recently passed the 1 year anniversary of our website too, the first post on it made on June 3, 2017.
As for the very first update I ever made, it was posted on August 14, 2014 (Raiko’s birthday). So it’s been almost 4 years ever since.
Pretty crazy to think about it. However, the fact that I’ve actually managed to keep doing these for so long, without skipping a single week, is definitely something I’m rather proud of. If I recall correctly, there’s only been a single time when the update needed to be postponed by a day. And I’m pretty sure I’ve never skipped one entirely.
Either way, I still remember how nervous I was when I was starting out with those postings over on Tumblr. I kept worrying about whether or not I’d even be able to post an update every week. Would we be able to make enough progress or could I find enough interesting topics so that there would always be something to talk about? It seemed kind of intimidating and so I often considered switching to monthly updates instead. However, in the end, I somehow managed to prevail and now here we are, almost 4 years and 200 weekly updates later.

If you’ve kept an eye on our Twitter or YouTube channel recently, you might have already noticed, but we have finally uploaded another little video, previewing some BGM tracks for GENBA no Kizuna, composed by none other than Solo Acapello! It’s finally time! Jurassic June has arrived, meaning that it has actually been an entire year now ever since we publicly unveiled our next murder mystery GENBA no Kizuna! Because of that, I thought I’ll use the first blog post of this year’s Jurassic June to not only give you an overview of what we have planned for this month, but also to take a look back at what has happened over the past 12 months, what kind of things have changed and how the development of our new visual novel project is progressing in general.
So without further ado, let’s get right into it!

Alright, so today we will have one last super short blog post before it’s finally time to say a little more next week, when Jurassic June will have officially begun! I can’t wait to finally reveal and share what I’ve been working on throughout May. If you want to have a little taste of it, you can check out the last two blog postings for some little teasers, or take a look over on our Patreon where I have posted and said a little more. I’ll probably upload another teaser very soon (most likely tomorrow).
Speaking of Patreon, you can also get a first WIP look at the May artwork by Natsu now, and you can also listen to another new BGM from GENBA no Kizuna‘s soundtrack, once again composed by Solo Acapello!
Unfortunately, there really isn’t much else to say. We’re one week away from Jurassic June, so I’d like to ask for a little more patience. I’m very excited about next month for a variety of reasons and I hope you’re looking forward to it as well!

As mentioned in last week’s blog post, I’ve been away for a little bit, but, ever since my return, have resumed work on our Jurassic June preparations. It’s not even two more weeks to go after all, and there is still quite a bit to do!

May has finally come around and so I thought that for today’s topic, I’m going to talk a little about our plans for this month. Which I guess could generally be summed up as “preparation for next month”. After all, it’s going to be Jurassic June! And just like last year, I’d like to use that month to once again put the spotlight entirely on GENBA no Kizuna!
