Well, this is the first time our weekly update falls on Christmas, so, as you can probably imagine, I don’t really have too much time for a big one, which is why we’re going to keep things rather short today! In exchange, however, next week’s blog post will be a pretty lengthy one, as I will publish our annual retrospect to take a look back at the entirety of 2022!
But for now, here’s a brief progress report:
Outside of finishing up the Christmas artwork, I have continued work on the laundry room background art, which is needed for Rei‘s final investigation route in GENBA no Kizuna‘s fourth chapter. Most of my time has been spent on the script again, however, as well as editing a trailer. I could type up an entire essay on that experience and might do a deep dive once the trailer is actually done, but believe me… it’s a pretty time-consuming and exhausting task. I might even need to start from scratch, so here’s hoping I can still get it done before the end of the year. Not a good idea to rush things, though, especially with something as important to marketing as this, so we’ll see.
Anyway, not really much else to say apart from the above. At least the script work went really well and I’m pretty happy with the results of my recent writing sessions. Almost at the end of the penultimate chapter now!
We’ve already done a separate Christmas post, but I guess I’ll say it here once again: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, guys!
I sincerely hope you’re all enjoying your time! Until next Saturday, take care! :3
