So, this past week, I’ve finally started work on the last set of investigation routes for GENBA no Kizuna‘s penultimate chapter!
I’m currently working on the laundry room investigation as well as Himatsu‘s final interrogation simultaneously and have made some pretty good progress on them, adding up to about another ~7000 words of script.
The thing about the laundry room is that, as I have mentioned before, I also need to work on the background art for it at the same time, so, despite this investigation actually being a shorter one in terms of script, it’ll still take me a bit to fully finish it.
Therefore, the main focus lies on Himatsu‘s route at the moment, which I hope to finish within the next couple of days.
Of course, Keiichi also has another route here which, similar to Rei‘s, requires new background art. Only Shinketsu isn’t getting an individual route this time as, from this point onward, he accompanies Rei.
It’s difficult to say how long all of this is going to take to finish, but my goal still is to at least get the script side of things completed by the end of the month.
Anyway, that’s all I can share in terms of progress on the actual VN at the moment. I have, however, also finished setting up its Steam store page. All that’s left to do now is to cut a trailer together and get it approved before we can publish it, so hopefully things will also go smoothly there, too!
