As the title unveils and as I’ve been mentioning in previous blog posts, right now, the script for GENBA no Kizuna‘s fourth chapter is at the top of my to-do list, so this week as well, I’ve dedicated most of my time to it. At the moment, it’s ~37,000 words in length.
I can’t yet say how long it will be when all’s written and done, but it will very likely be of similar length as the second chapter, which ended up being around 58,000 words, if not even a little longer than that.
Currently, I’m writing another interview session between Himatsu and Raptor Pack Productions and, as difficult as they may be due to all the little details I gotta pay attention to, they’re also some of my favorite parts, because I really like the feel you get when you switch back and forth between questioning different characters and step by step uncover more details about the case and slowly piece more and more of it together in the process.
I really wish I could say more than that, but it’s really too spoilery to delve further into at this point…
Anyway, since only working on the script tends to get a little tiresome after a while, I’ve also worked on some art-related things, but even those I can’t really share much about yet. Some of it is for the SHINRAI side project and then there are a few new sprite variations for GENBA, which I might share on Patreon, but not publicly. With the spooky season slowly getting spookier, however, I’m thinking of doing a Halloween artwork again this year, so at least that’ll be something I can share more about soon!
