So, today will be a shorter update, since I’ve been busy with a variety of things over this past week, quite a few of them actually not having much to do with VN development. I did, however, still get some work on GENBA no Kizuna done, so let’s talk about that first!
You might have seen me tweet about it on my private Twitter account, but I did some more script work again, making quite a bit of progress. The scene I was working on focuses on the introduction of our two witness characters (who have not been introduced yet, neither publicly nor on Patreon). I can’t really say much more about it than that, but as you might be able to tell from the tweet, I had a lot of fun with it and feel very satisfied with the outcome!
Outside of that, I have published two new postings on Patreon over the last few days. The most recent one from today contains a design sketch for Prof. Dr. Genshi Kaseki, the original owner of the Kaseki Residence. He may not be a character who’s actively involved in the story, but he plays a very important role nonetheless.
As for the other post, it gives you an early look at this year’s anniversary artwork depicting an older Raiko and an older Nobara.
You can expect to see the finished version on the 14th, Raiko’s birthday! (To think she turns 22 this year… kids grow up so fast ;_;)
I’ve generally been busy with the preparations for her birthday as well as the second anniversary of SHINRAI‘s release (which isn’t too far off anymore either), since both of these go hand in hand in a sense. Not much I can say about this either, but thankfully, there isn’t much else left to do, so I can start focusing on a few other things again.
