Yep, you’ve read that correctly, Keiichi! As of today, the Steam store page for our next murder mystery visual novel GENBA no Kizuna is finally live! Along with a revised list of features that now better reflects what the final product is going to be like, we have also uploaded a whole bunch of new screenshots! Although none of this might be all that new to you if you’ve already checked out the recent update to the GENBA section on this website or over on our itch store page…
What’s definitely going to be new to you, however, is the first proper trailer we have prepared for the occasion! Not only can you view it on the Steam store page, we’ve also uploaded it to our YouTube channel, so let me share it with you right here as well:
Now, you may probably be wondering about the release date, but unfortunately, I can’t really give you one yet. We do have something specific in mind, but until we get closer to finishing up the rest of the game, I won’t feel confident enough to throw anything out there. That said, we’re definitely planning to release it this year! For more info on our current plans, you can check out this post right here!
If GENBA no Kizuna has piqued your curiosity and you can’t wait to throw yourself at this prehistoric murder case and solve it, be sure to hit that “Add to your wishlist” button on Steam! That’d help us out tremendously!
Also, don’t be shy to let us know your impressions and suggestions! Given how far into development we are now, it’s gonna be a little difficult to make any drastic changes at this stage, but we’re still open to feedback and certainly willing to polish and improve the experience as much as possible before release!
If you’d like to get an even better look at our game to help out with feedback, we’ve got a demo up over on itch and via this link here.
It contains the prologue and a good chunk of the first chapter!
And if that’s still not enough for you, patrons can even check out everything up until the end of the third chapter!
Well, I guess that about wraps up all the important points I wanted to mention. I’ll be talking a bit more about all of this in our next weekly update on Saturday! Before we wrap this up, however, I’ve got one more thing to share with you:
A little late, but GENBA‘s Shiku is finally here to once again wish you a Happy New Year! She (as well as Natsu and I, of course) genuinely hopes for you to have had an enjoyable and rather promising start into 2023 thus far!
As always, the artwork has been added to our gallery and patrons can download a bigger version along with the “sprite version” of Shiku (no BG or text) right over here.
Now, with all that out of the way, please have a great remainder of the week and, until next Saturday, take care :3
