At the moment, I’m working through all the missing notebook and bonus content for SHINRAI Saku – Blooming Beyond Despair.
This past week, I’ve finished writing the remaining trivia entries and all the ones for Raiko‘s diary.
I really enjoy using the notebook sections to deepen the world-building and to share as much of the knowledge I’ve attained through my writing research as possible. So, in Saku too, you’ll be able to learn more about not only the world of SHINRAI itself, but also how a lot of stuff actually functions in reality, particularly when it comes to everything related to ryokan, onsen and Japanese middle school trips!

There’s also another post available to all paid supporters, regarding the credits of the game. It’s basically just an info post to let paid supporters know that they will be featured in the game’s credits, as long as they financially supported us during Saku‘s development period, whether it was just for a month or from begining to end. I’ll try to contact former patrons in private, but if you are someone who did support us previously and you’re reading this here now, then feel free to also hit me up first and let me know if you’d rather like to be removed from the credits or be displayed under a different name.
Anyway, with the trivia and diary sections taken care of, that now leaves the character profiles and the extras menu, so those I’ll be tackling next! In the meantime, I hope you’ll enjoy the rest of your weekend and continue to have a very pleasant summer!
