Weekly Update #620: The Final Track

Today, we’re both super excited and also a little bit sad to unveil to you the final addition to SHINRAI Saku‘s OST: its credits theme!
On the one hand, this is another major step forward regarding the completion of this project. On the other hand, it means that our composer Crescendo‘s work is done on it now, which is quite a shame. After all, collaborating with her and regularly receiving these amazing musical pieces was a true joy! One I already greatly miss…

And if you feel the same about no longer getting any new Saku music previews from here on out, do be sure to check out Cre’s website where you can find a lot more work from her! But first, please have a listen to her final contribution to our next VN’s soundtrack:

As always, the full track is available to supporters of both Crescendo’s Ko-fi (3$ memberships) and our Patreon (5$+ tiers).

Now, since it’s insanely hot here again today (around 38°C💦), I’m gonna keep the rest of this post rather simple and short, focusing on only a few other quick points. So, first of all, in case you’ve missed it, the summer sale has just started, meaning that there’s yet another chance to snatch up both the original SHINRAI and GENBA no Kizuna at a discount, either for yourself or maybe even friend!

Fellow gamedev Jun‘s adventure visual novel Neko No Sentouki is also on sale again (25% off), so, since I’ve worked on its English translation, I gotta shine a spotlight on it again as well! There’s even an extensive artbook available on itch, along with a bundle deal. Please do at least give the store page a look to see whether it might be your thing!

Crescendo‘s very own visual novel Toumayhem is on sale as well (30% off). It’s a sci-fi/mystery story involving murder, so if you’re into the stuff we’re doing around here, there’s a good chance this one might be up your alley, too!

Finally, if you’ve missed the latest additions or haven’t seen them at all yet, I’m once again gonna link to my GENBA threads on Twitter and Bluesky, which, in celebration of Jurassic June, list a ton of dinosaur media-related nods and references I’ve hidden in the game! There’s a lot of obscure stuff in there you might not have picked up on, so I hope it provides an interesting read!

Anyway, Jurassic June may slowly be concluding, but that also means that our release anniversaries are getting real close now!
We’ll talk about that next time, though. For now, it’s time to cool off again…

Please enjoy the rest of your weekend, stay hydrated and, until next Saturday, take care :3
