Now, with that out of the way, let’s get to this week’s progress update on our next project SHINRAI Saku – Blooming Beyond Despair!
I’ve primarily continued work on the background art I’ve mentioned in last week’s blog post. It took me a bit longer than expected, because… well… my dumb ass accidentally overwrote the progress of two entire days while saving… meaning I had to re-do it all over again “orz Thankfully, it went quite a bit faster the second time around, but still… that was a very painful experience that made me once again aware of the importance of not only paying extreme attention, but also creating regular backup files…
Anyway, I still need to play around with the lighting conditions, which are once again the most challenging aspect to me, but you can expect to see a preview of the final BG very soon. Since I don’t wanna show anything off in its current state, I opted to just give you a look at some of the new Nobara expressions I whipped up a couple weeks ago.
Another thing you should keep an eye out for (or rather an ear) is a new BGM preview, as our composer Crescendo finished the latest addition to Saku‘s soundtrack this week. We’ll dedicate next week’s blog post to it, but let me already tell you that it’s fricking amazing! She’s once again outdone herself!
That’s about all the major things I can mention, though. As usual, I’m also running a little late here and gotta get back to work, sooo… guess we’ll call it quits here!
