As some of you may already know, I slowly started to get into merch creation towards the tail end of last year, doing a little experiment with some Zenless Zone Zero fan art I’ve drawn and I ended up feeling rather happy with the result. Thus, I continued with this side endeavor and, as you can plainly see above, went a step further now, turning SHINRAI‘s very Kamen Eiga into an acrylic standee as well!
(And I do think she does make for the perfect Halloween decoration, no?)
It’s such a weird feeling to finally have merch of my own VN sitting right next to me on my desk. But it’s pretty cool, too! And I once again think that the end result turned out really well! Therefore, I will keep going and try out a few more things to further familiarize myself with merch manufacturing (in fact, I already tried making some ZZZ pins as well, which also look pretty neat)!
- Merch Goals…?
To be quite honest, I don’t really have an idea yet where all this will eventually lead. Like, I’m not sure if I’ll actually provide a way for people to order any SHINRAI or GENBA merch, as that would heavily depend on how much interest there would even be in that.
It’s definitely something I think would be super cool to do, but for the time being, I’m mostly doing this for myself. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, so I put it on my personal goal list for 2025 and see how far I’ll get while we’re working on SHINRAI Saku.
If you’d like to own a Kamen acrylic standee yourself, though (or any other type of merch for that matter), be sure to let me know!
Either through Discord, Bluesky/Twitter DMs or even a direct mail at gospel@gosatsu.com! I’d be very curious to hear your thoughts!
Anyway, while I did feel proud and excited enough to share her, I don’t really want to say much more on the matter at the moment.
I have a lot of ideas of other things to try, though, and will share the results once I hold them in my hands!
- Mystery Game Jam
Now, before we come to a close for today, I’d also like to bring some attention to the next game jam hosted by Mystery Gamedev!
While the submission period will start on April 4 and last until May 5, you can already read the rules and even sign up for it now!
So, if the idea of trying to create a mystery game in just one month sounds like a fun and exciting challenge to you, head right over to the official itch page to learn more! And for any further questions (or to just connect with other mystery players/devs and maybe find the next cool mystery game to play), you could always join our community’s Discord server! We’d be happy to welcome you there!
As always, please enjoy the rest of your weekend and, until next Saturday, take care :3
