So, my plan for January was to reach the halfway mark of the final chapter and, up until that point, get it ready for Natsu to code.
Now, while I haven’t quite made it, it was a really close call, as I should be able to send her the zip package with all the assets and script tomorrow evening! So yeah, a couple days later than planned, but I am essentially done with 50% of our grand finale!
I stopped at the part where you need to pick the actual person who killed the victim, which I decided to whip up a variation of our “suspect select screen” for, as you can see above. In other words, from here on out, all that’s left is to wrap up the individual ending routes, which will be my task for February and I’ll focus on the true culprit ending first, as that’s the longest one.
In the meantime, Natsu will beta-test the entirety of chapter four which she just finished coding the rest of! So yeah, at long long last, the final investigation phase is fully playable! I can’t wait to test it myself and, once I get a chance to, you can also expect to see some new screenshots and maybe gameplay videos.
But that’s about all for today. It’s a busy weekend again and, as mentioned before, I wanna send Natsu the next zip package tomorrow, so I’m gonna get back now to looking over everything one last time! As for you, I hope you’re enjoying a much chiller weekend! Until next Saturday, take care :3
